Man, 75, dies from injuries in hit-and-run

A 75-year-old man who was struck in a hit-and-run on the South Side-Arlington line in January has died.

John J. Kulinski, of Pittsburgh, died Friday at UPMC Mercy, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office said.

Mr. Kulinski was crossing the street in the 2200 block of Arlington Avenue the night of Jan. 23 when he was hit by a vehicle traveling inbound.

The driver of the vehicle did not stop after hitting Mr. Kulinski. No arrests have been made.
