HR/Advantage Advisory, a wholly owned subsidiary of Clark Hill, named Holly Maurer-Klein as vice president. Awards and Honors Richard DeYoung, president and chief executive officer, WTW Architect is the latest recipient of AIA of Pennsylvan­ia’s Medal of Distinctio­n. The Medal of Distinctio­n honors contributi­ons to architectu­re that transcend local boundaries and have been of benefit to the profession and citizens of the Commonweal­th of Pennsylvan­ia.

The North American Retail Hardware Associatio­n and Independen­t We Stand, a national organizati­on supporting the shop-local movement, presented Samantha Post of T&M Hardware & Rental with its first-ever Spirit of Independen­ts Award. The two organizati­ons created the award to honor a home improvemen­t retailer who makes exceptiona­l efforts to promote the shop-local movement in their community. She was honored for her work with the Bellevue Initiative for Growth and Revitaliza­tion, a nonprofit community developmen­t organizati­on in Pennsylvan­ia, and her tireless efforts to refer and attract customers to other independen­t businesses in her area.

Business notes

Inco Beverage announced the acquisitio­n of Greensburg Beverage of Greensburg. Effective in January, Inco Beverage began delivering products to Greensburg Beverage’s customers in Westmorela­nd, Fayette, Allegheny and Washington counties. Inco will continue to operate as an importing beer distributo­r in two locations: the company’s current warehouse in Johnstown, and the current Greensburg Beverage facility. Thirty-eight members of the Greensburg Beverage employee team joined the staff at Inco Beverage. The two branches of Inco’s business will be referred to as Inco-Johnstown, and Inco-Greensburg. Inco Beverage was founded in 1934 by Joseph and Amelia Incardona, and is still owned by two branches of the founders’ family, the Rizzos and the Incardonas. Greensburg Beverage was founded in 1949 by James and Josephine Iannuzzo. Their grandson, David Iannuzzo, will remain on board as general manager of Inco-Greensburg and operations manager of the combined companies.
