This four-part docu-series delves into the life and times of Richard Milhous Nixon, chroniclin­g his rise and early fall, followed in turn by a startling comeback that was only a prologue to his complete political destructio­n during a turbulent American political decade. The opener, “Part One: The Will to Win,” covers his upbringing in a modest household that often seems beset by tragedy.

The Fix

As a courtroom prosecutor, Marcia Clark failed to win a guilty verdict with murder defendant O.J. Simpson, but she may get the last word, after a fashion, in this new legal drama, on which she’s a cowriter and executive producer. Robin Tunney stars as prosecutor Maya Travis, who goes into self-imposed seclusion after failing to make a murder case against a charismati­c celebrity. TUESDAY

9 p.m. on WPGH Mental Samurai

In this new reality competitio­n series hosted by Rob Lowe, contestant­s must concentrat­e as never before to answer questions accurately under extremely challengin­g conditions. While being peppered with questions designed to test general knowledge, memory, puzzle-solving and sequencing, the players are physically transporte­d at high speeds around the set in a capsule that can be rotated 360 degrees. WEDNESDAY

8:30 p.m. on WTAE Schooled

The faculty’s resident manboy, C.B. (Brett Dier), and the members of the school’s avid “Star Wars” club invite Coach Mellor (Bryan Callen) to join them at the eagerly awaited premiere of “The Phantom Menace.” The coach’s unexpected reaction to the movie winds up causing the club to disband, however, in the new episode “Darth Mellor.” Elsewhere, Lainey encourages Principal Glascott to let his niece get her driver’s license, confident that Felicia is trustworth­y. THURSDAY

10 p.m. on TRAV Kindred Spirits

The new episode “The Villisca Axe Murders” takes paranormal investigat­ors and BFFs Amy Bruni and Adam Berry to Iowa, where they explore a rural farmhouse where an entire family was brutally murdered in 1912 by an assailant who was never identified or apprehende­d. They have reason to fear that the spirit of the guilty party may still hold sway over the residence. If so, he may be trying to add to his death toll from the afterlife.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

In a new episode called “I Need to Find My Frenemy,” Rebecca is caught off-guard when she gets a call from her lifelong personal and profession­al nemesis, Audra Levine, pleading for Rebecca’s help with a complicate­d situation. Meanwhile, Nathaniel, Josh and Greg try to sort out their entangled emotions when it comes to Rebecca. SATURDAY

Funny Women of a Certain Age

Fran Drescher headlines the cast in this new special that spotlights mature female comedy performers whose acts are drawn from plenty of life experience, both on and off the stage.
