Trump’s taxes

I heard President Donald Trump say that he has been the most transparent president ever. If so, why won’t he show his taxes like every other president since Woodrow Wilson (except Richard Nixon)?

Is he afraid that people will be appalled when they find out how much he earned in a year, while reneging on payment to myriad contractors? Or is he afraid the people will be appalled at the total he has earned? Or is it the amount of taxes he paid while earning such a vast amount?

And last, is he afraid the Internal Revenue Service might take another look at his taxes and prosecute him for evasion and fraud?
