Guilty for racist calls
A Florida man pleaded guilty Tuesday to calling the offices of Democratic Congress members Cory Booker, Eric Swallwell and Rashida Tlaib, and leaving racist, threatening and profanity-laced messages, prosecutors said.
John J. Kless, a resident of Tamarac, Fla., pleaded guilty in Federal District Court in Miami to one count of transmitting threats through interstate communication. He will face up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
