Wednesday: Southern Illinois 3, Washington 2. Recap: Mikael Mogues hit a two-run homer scoring Hector Roa who had singled in a seventh-inning rally, but the struggling Wild Things came up short again against the Miners. Mogues was 2 for 3 as Washington was held to five hits on the night.
