Over 850,000 in Pa. will lose coverage if ACA is overturned

-

A total of 857,000 Pennsylvanians would lose health care coverage if the Affordable Care Act is overturned, an analysis by the Capital-Star found. The online news site determined that 472,000 of those who would lose coverage live in Democratic districts while 385,000 live in Republican districts. An appellate court recently ruled that the law’s mandate that everyone carry health insurance was unconstitutional and directed a Texas court to reconsider whether the entire law was unconstitutional.
