SUNDAY 8 p.m. on WTAE Kids Say the Darndest Things

Tiffany Haddish wraps up Season 1 of this charming reboot in a finale called “My Work Is Done,” which revisits some of this season’s funniest moments. In another segment, Clark, a 7-year-old aspiring FBI agent, gets the thrill of his young lifetime via a crash course in forensic science, interrogation, handcuffing and more at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Va.

MONDAY 9:01 p.m. on WPGH Prodigal Son

Malcolm’s (Tom Payne) NYPD friends team up with the FBI to rescue him from John Watkins (Michael Raymond-James), the Junkyard Killer, who reveals harrowing details to his captive about those long-ago camping trips that have been haunting Malcolm, as this hit thriller makes its midseason return. As Gil (Lou Diamond Phillips) seeks answers from The Surgeon (Michael Sheen), Jessica and Ainsley (Bellamy Young, Halston Sage) search their memories for clues to where Malcolm might be held.

TUESDAY 10:03 p.m. on HIST Project Blue Book

A surprise hit in its freshman outing, this fact-inspired series returns for Season 2 with “The Roswell Incident — Part I.” As the action resumes, Hynek and Quinn (Aidan Gillen, Michael Malarkey) follow Gen. James Harding (Neal McDonough) to Roswell, N.M., where a local civilian has threatened to expose to the world hard evidence that an extraterrestrial craft crash-landed in the area a few years ago.

WEDNESDAY 8 p.m. on KDKA Undercover Boss

The new episode “Dippin’ Dots” takes viewers inside the company that produces flash-frozen beaded ice cream treats, where owner and CEO Scott Fischer goes under cover to see where his business needs his personal attention. However, Fischer is hard-pressed to play it cool when an employee at their ice cream manufacturing plant raises suspicions about his true identity.

THURSDAY 8 p.m. on WTAE Station 19

ABC makes an audacious scheduling switch in handing this Season 3 returnee the night’s lead-off spot, to be followed by network veteran “Grey’s Anatomy,” which previously held that position. In storytelling terms, however, it makes sense, because the hospital drama’s fall season climaxed with a cliffhanger that saw a car crash through the walls of Joe’s Bar, where Warren, Herrera (Jason George, Jaina Ortiz) and the Station 19 interns were relaxing. It’s probably a safe bet tonight’s crossover event will have zero chill.

FRIDAY 9 p.m. on TRAV Kindred Spirits

Paranormal investigators Amy Bruni and Adam Berry once again call on psychic medium Chip Coffey for his assistance as they explore alleged occult activity inside the Old Jail of St. Augustine, Fla. The facility once not only housed some of the most violent criminals in America but also was the site of many executions of those same evildoers. As he joins his two colleagues, Coffey channels a chillingly dark vision from beyond the grave in the new “Dead Men Tell Tales.”

SATURDAY 8 p.m. on LIFE Movie: Chris Watts: Confessions of a Killer

When his pregnant wife, Shanann (Ashley Williams), and their two young daughters go missing in Colorado in 2018, husband and father Chris Watts (Sean Kleier) makes a tearful appeal to TV viewers for their safe return. It isn’t long, however, before the horrific truth emerges: Watts murdered his family himself. CBI Agent Tammy Lee (Brooke Smith) ferrets out the truth from a murderous web of lies in this 2020 docudrama.
