107 new COVID- 19 cases, 3 fatalities in Western Pa.
Pennsylvania reported 547 new cases of COVID- 19 and 20 new deaths, the state health department said Monday.
In Western Pennsylvania, there were 107 new cases and three deaths reported — one each in Indiana, Jefferson and Lawrence counties.
Allegheny County, which has the region’s highest totals, reported 39 new positive cases and no new deaths.
The latest cases in Allegheny County are the result of 536 tests. The positive result tests were from Sept. 2 though Sept. 6. The latest cases range in age from 3 to 82, with 30 being the median age.
With the new data, Allegheny County has seen a total of 10,810 cases of COVID- 19, 1,030 hospitalizations and 349 deaths since the county’s first case was reported on March 14.
Pennsylvania’s latest numbers increase its case total to 139,863. With the new deaths, the state’s toll increases to 7,780 deaths.
