Highlights from major construction projects around Pittsburgh and surrounding areas this week
1. Armstrong Tunnel/Pittsburgh: Closed outbound, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday for electrical vault inspection.
2. Parkway West/I-376/ Robinson, North Fayette, Moon: Overnight restrictions Monday through Friday, weather permitting.
3. Saxonburg Road/Fawn, Harrison: Closed indefinitely in both directions between Route 908 and Freeport Road. Local traffic permitted.
4. Route 50/South Fayette: Single-lane closure westbound between State Route 978 and Reissing Road from Monday through Dec. 18.
5. East Carson Street/ Pittsburgh: Single-lane restrictions between South 10th and South 14th streets for continuing improvements, weekdays through late January.
6. Northern Pike/Monroeville: Closed to traffic between Abers Creek Road and Valerie Circle. Detours posted.
7. Noblestown Road/Oakdale Borough: Closed between Hill Road and Gregg Station Road until further notice. Detour posted.
8. Lebanon Church Road, Curry Hollow Road/West Mifflin, Pleasant Hills, Baldwin Borough: Single-lane restrictions in both directions between Ceco Drive and Brownsville Road 9 a.m.-3 p.m. weekdays through Dec. 18.
9. Dooker’s Hollow Bridge/ North Braddock/East Pittsburgh: Closed until December 2021 for replacement.
10. West Carson Street/ Pittsburgh: Single-lane restrictions in both directions between the West End Circle and Smithfield Street Bridge 8 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays through mid-December.
11. Verona Road/Penn Hills: Portion of road closed between Lincoln Road and Route 130 through midDecember.
12. Kittanning Street/ Etna: Closed between Snyder Street and Greismere Street through Dec. 23.
13. O’Connell Boulevard/
North Braddock: Closed under Dooker’s Hollow Bridge through at least January.
14. Jerome Street Bridge/ McKeesport: Single lane in each direction between Romine Avenue and Gibson Way through late March.
15. Route 28/ Pittsburgh: Work is scheduled at various locations through early spring.
16. Way Hollow Road/ Edgeworth, Sewickley Heights: Closed to traffic indefinitely between Woodland and Backbone roads.
17. Bates Street/Pittsburgh: Single-lane restriction between Hodge Street and Second Avenue 9 a.m.-3 p.m. through late December.
18. Route50/SouthFayette: Lane restrictions westbound between Route 978 and Reissing Road in Cecil to Dec. 18, weather permitting.
19. Sixth Avenue/Rankin: Closed between Kenmawr Avenue and Duquesne Way through late summer.
20. Route 136/Elizabeth: Long-term closure between Route 51 in Forward and Long Hollow Road.
21. East Elfinwild Road/ Shaler: Closed near intersection with Route 8 through December.
22. McMillan Road/Upper St. Clair: Single-lane restrictions at the intersection with McLaughlin Run Road on both roadways as needed weekdays 7 a.m.-5 p.m. through mid-December.
23. Big Sewickley Creek Road/Franklin Park: Singlelane alternating traffic on the bridge over Big Sewickley Creek between Hopkins Church Road and Amsler Ridge Road around the clock through mid-December.
24. Horning Road/South Park, Baldwin Borough: Closed between Broughton Road and Curry Road, 9 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
25. Millers Run Road/ South Fayette: Closed 8 a.m. Tuesday through 5 p.m. Dec. 20 between Sygan Road and Preston Sygan Road.
26. Route 48 (Boston Hollow Road)/Elizabeth, Lincoln: Closed near Finney Road through late December.
27. State Street/Clairton: Single-lane alternating traffic, 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, weather permitting, between Blair and Mendelsohn avenues.
28. McKeesport-Duquesne Bridge/McKeesport: Ramp from the bridge to Route 148 northbound closed through Friday.
29. Route 51/Pleasant Hills: Single-lane restrictions 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday between Lewis Run Road and Grace Street.
30. Route 60/Pittsburgh, Robinson: Single-lane restrictions on the Thornburg Bridge, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.
