LIVELY FARE If you missed T stop dancers, you can still catch them on film

When COVID-19 kept audiences away from the theater, Shana Simmons Dance decided to bring its performanc­es to people through an online dance-for-film series called “Constructe­d Sight.”

After a successful launch in September — and hundreds of views on YouTube since — the series is back with another installmen­t. “Constructe­d Sight: Winter” will show new films on YouTube’s Premieres platform at 8 p.m. Saturday and March 13 and 3 p.m. Sunday and March 14. Talk-back sessions with artists will follow each screening on Zoom.

“The response was overwhelmi­ngly positive,” artistic director Shana Simmons said. “It was a wonderful space for creativity and art and dance, and people had been missing it. They felt like they were part of a community again.”
