Afew of the hardcore haunts will carry on into the first weekend of November, but for most of these haunted houses, this is the last call for scares: KENNYWOOD’S PHANTOM FALL FEST (West Mifflin): New this year, Kennywood is opening the park for family friendly fun with festive food, an autumn atmosphere and rides during the day. At night, it gets darker in more ways than one, with five haunted houses and four scare zones. Through Oct. 31. 6-11 p.m. Friday, noon-11 p.m. Saturday, noon-10 p.m. Sunday. $34.99; kennywood.com.

SCAREHOUSE (Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills, Frazer): In its new location, the 20year-old attraction will expose visitors to the original version of Bunny, the 6-foottall rabbit with a hatchet; the nightmaris­h Creepo the clown; and Delirium, a neoncolore­d, unhinged raver. No Basement this

CASTLE BLOOD (100 Schoonmake­r Ave., Monessen): In a historic 100-year-old funeral home, guests may be guided by “an elegant vampire, a beautiful spirit, wacky witch or mad scientist, menacing monster, a vengeful vampire, undead bride, wayward werewolf or hungry ghoul.” 7-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
