GAME-DAY NOTES

-

Facts, figures and storylines for Week 11:

BLOWOUTS have been extremely common this season. Twentyfour games have been decided by at least 24 points, tied for the second most through 10 weeks since the NFL/AFL merger, trailing only the 29 in 1975. BROWNS DE Myles Garrett needs one sack vs. Detroit (1 p.m., WPGH) to tie the Browns singleseason record of 14 set by Reggie Camp in 1984.

TH E PACKERS, the only publiclyheld franchise, had the sixth stock offering in franchise history this past week, raising $40.1 million in its first three days. Among the buyers: Packers RB A.J. Dillon. Afterward, he tweeted: “Self employed.”

JONATH AN TAYLOR has been historically hot for the Colts. He’s topped 100 yards from scrimmage and scored at least one touchdown in seven consecutive games. It is the third-longest streak in NFL history behind Lydell Mitchell and LaDainian Tomlinson, who each had eightgame runs. OLD AFC EAST rivals Miami and the New York Jets meet for the 112th time. The Dolphins have won 55 times, the Jets have won 55 times and there has been one tie. Carrying the balance in the series a step further, the overall average score since they first played Sept. 9, 1966: Dolphins 22, Jets 21. ADDENDU M to the previous note. With a win Sunday, the Dolphins would claim a lead in

the series for the first time in just over 21 years. The Dolphins are favored by 31⁄ points and

2 for good reason. The Jets have allowed 175 points in their past four games, the second-highest four-game total since the 1970 merger.

SO YOU think Aaron Rodgers (toe) would miss a game vs. the Vikings? In 25 career starts vs. Minnesota, he has thrown for 51 touchdowns and owns the highest passer rating of any QB against them.

TH E AFC-LEADING Titans (8-2) are 14-7 inside the AFC South since Mike Vrabel was hired in 2018. They are 10-point favorites vs. Houston.

SOME UNFINISH ED business from Week 10. The fact that the Lions didn’t/couldn’t beat the Steelers at Heinz Field means that there remain two teams whose last win on the road vs. a particular opponent predates the Super Bowl era. The Lions last won in Pittsburgh in 1955, and the Steelers last won a road game in Philadelphia in 1965.
