Robert Morris 20, Campbell 17: Nick Bisceglia kicked a 25-yard field goal in overtime to give the host Colonials (4-6, 3-4 Big South) a win in their season finale. After Bisceglia’s kick, the Camels’ Isaac Riffle missed a 24-yard attempt to end the game.

Campbell (3-8, 2-5) had a chance to win in regulation in a bizarre sequence that involved three fiel- goal attempts.

Campbell reached the Colonials 17 with two seconds remaining after a drive set up by Keshawn Thompson’s interception. Riffle missed on a 34-yarder but an offsides penalty gave him another chance 5 yards closer. He kicked it through the uprights and the Camels rushed the field. But

Campbell was called for a facemask penalty and Riffle’s 44-yard attempt went wide right and the teams went to overtime.

Alijah Jackson rushed for 132 yards for the Colonials.

Notre Dame, Ohio 33, Slippery Rock 25: Noah Grover threw his third interception of the game with 1:23 remaining to end a scoring threat and Notre Dame held off Slippery Rock in the first round of the Division II playoffs in South Euclid, Ohio.

Down one score, Slippery

Rock drove into Notre Dame territory three times only to come away empty. Hooks’ interception at the Notre Dame 34 was the final rejection.

Slippery Rock (9-3) trailed, 33-10, when Cinque Sweeting took a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown with 11:07 to play in the third quarter. The Rock went 90 yards on its next possession, which included a successful fake punt, and scored on a 7-yard rushing touchdown by Tim Smith. Sweeting hauled in the 2point pass to close the deficit to 33-25 with five minutes left in the third quarter.

The No. 19-ranked Rock lost All-American receiver Henry Litwin in the first half and finished the game missing eight starters. Litwin, who it was revealed postgame has been playing with a broken collarbone, caught four passes for 43 yards before leaving to move into first place in school history with 3,392 receiving yards.

Notre Dame (11-1) faces No. 2-seeded Shepherd in the next round of the playoffs.
