“Bros”: Two men form a love connection in this romantic comedy featuring an almost entirely LGBTQ+ principal cast. Directed by Nicholas Stoller and starring Billy Eichner, Luke McFarlane, Monica Raymund and Guillermo Díaz.
“Smile”: A doctor begins to think she’s losing her mind after witnessing a strange incident involving a patient. Directed by Parker Finn and starring Sosie Bacon, Jessie T. Usher, Rob Morgan and Kal Penn.

“Thor: Love and Thunder”: The God of Thunder reunites with an old flame as Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster returns, and saves the kids of New Asgard from a terrifying “god butcher” played by a villainous Christian Bale, with “Thor: Ragnarok” director Taika Waititi again helming the action.
“Bullet Proof”: Action film starring Vinnie Jones as a thief who steals from a mob boss, always a dangerous proposition.
“Sound of Metal”: Riz Ahmed won the Academy Award for best actor for his portrayal of a rock drummer who is losing his hearing in this 2020 Prime Video release.
“The Munsters”: The ’60s sitcom family returns, reimagined by writer/director Rob Zombie, in this family-friendly outing starring Sheri Moon Zombie, Cassandra Peterson and Richard Brake.

Björk, “Fossora”: Tenth album and first in five years from the Icelandic art-pop singer features contributions from Serpentwithfeet, Björk’s two children Sindri and Ísadóra, Indonesian dance duo Gabber Modus Operandi and bass clarinet sextet Murmuri.
Pixies, “Doggerel”: Frontman Black Francis says of the band’s eighth album, “We’re trying to do things that are very big and bold and orchestrated. The punky stuff, I really like playing it but you just cannot artificially create that sh--.”
Slipknot, “The End, So Far”: The Iowa metal band’s seventh album is its last for Roadrunner and its first with new percussionist Michael Pfaff.
Titus Andronicus, “The Will To Live”: Frontman Patrick Sickles says of the Jersey punk band’s seventh album, “It may strike some as ironic we had to go to Canada to record our equivalent to ‘Born in the USA,’ but the pursuit of Ultimate Rock knows no borders.”
Yeah Yeah Yeahs, “Cool It Down”: First album in nine years from the New York band features a single, “Spitting Off the Edge of the World,” with Perfume Genius produced by TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek.

the tragic tale of the young woman whose disappearance in 2021 made national headlines.
“Yvonne Orji: A Whole Me” (HBO, Saturday, 10 p.m.): The comic and “Insecure” co-star opens up in this new stand-up special.
“Saturday Night Live” (NBC, Saturday, 11:29 p.m.): The sketch show kicks off its 48th season. Miles Teller hosts and Kendrick Lamar performs.
“The Walking Dead” (AMC, Sunday, 7:57 p.m.): A “Bonus Edition” kicks things off with things ramping up again inside the Commonwealth. Immediately following, the new episode “Lockdown” sees Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) rush to the Commonwealth to stop Hornsby (Josh Hamilton).
“The Equalizer” (KDKA, Sunday, 8:30 p.m.): The walls between Robyn McCall’s (Queen Latifah) family and vigilante life continue to crumble as those closest to her must now come together for the first time to save her from an uncertain fate in the Season 3 premiere.
