Eagles will wait to see if Suh can play

-

Ndamukong Suh arrived in Philadelphia to bolster the Eagles’ defensive line, donned a No 74 uniform and practiced with his new teammates. It’s not certain, however, whether he’ll cap a whirlwind few days with a chance to play Sunday against Indianapolis.

Coach Nick Siriani wouldn’t say whether Suh or Linval Joseph, the other defensive tackle added during the week, could be ready to play, although he noted that the players’ experiences playing for different coaches in their 12-year careers would help them get up to speed quickly.

“I’ve played in every single scheme in the NFL, 3-4, 43, [5-2], everything,” Suh said. “Nothing is technically new to me. It’s going to be more about terminology.”

Chargers

Barring a setback, quarterback Justin Herbert will get his top two receivers back for Sunday night’s AFC West showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs. Keenan Allen and Mike Williams were full participants in Friday’s practice. They’re both listed as questionable and coach Brandon Staley said it will be a game-time decision.

Rams

Quarterback Matthew Stafford is out of the concussion protocol and will return to the Los Angeles lineup after a one-week absence.
