GAME-DAY NOTES
Week 11 storylines, numbers and other interesting stuff:
The BEARs have rushed for at least 225 yards in an unprecedented five consecutive games going into their game vs. the Falcons.
QB Justin Fields is a big reason for Chicago’s ground success. He has run for 555 yards in the past five games— the most of any QB in a five-game span in the Super Bowl era— and seeks a third consecutive 100-yard game. No QB has had more than two in a row.
Kyle Shanahan, who started his 49ers coaching career 10-22, can climb above .500 for the first time with a win vs. Arizona Monday (8:15 p.m., ESPN). History is not on his side. He’s had six other chances and lost each one.
How bad are the Raiders (2-7) at Broncos (3-6)? The last time these old rivals met when their combined records were worse than this year’s 5-13 was Nov. 29, 1964.
with 31 pass attempts vs. Philadel-phia, Colts QB Matt Ryan will pass Dan Marino (8,358) for No. 6 on the league’s career list.
with 166 passing yards vs. the Steel-ers, Bengals QB Joe Burrow can tie Kurt Warner (36) for the third-fewest games to reach 10,000 yards in NFL history.
A Jets win vs. New England would put them in first place in the AFC East — their first time in first this late since 2010. That said, the Pa-triots have won 13 in a row in the series and are 3.5-point favorites.
CIRCLE the date. Darelle Revis (Aliquippa & Pitt) will be inducted into the Jets’ Ring of Honor next Sunday at metlife Stadium.
