THANKSGIVING THURSDAY FORECAST

-

Buffalo Bills (7-3) at Detroit Lions (4-6) • 12:30 p.m.

The Bills are going right back to Ford Field, four days after they were chased there by a snowstorm and beat the Browns. Typically, this might look like an easy victory for the Bills, but not with the way the Lions have been playing. They have won three in a row and scored 31 points in each of their past two games. Take the over.

Prediction: Bills, 34-28

New York Giants (7-3) at Dallas Cowboys (7-3) • 4:30 p.m.

Not sure which was more surprising, the Giants getting handled at home by the Lions or the Cowboys handling the Vikings in Minnesota? The Cowboys have averaged 35.3 points the past four games after failing to score more than 25 without Dak Prescott. And they handed the Giants one of their three losses in Week 3, 23-16.

Prediction: Cowboys, 30-21

New England Patriots (6-4) at Minnesota Vikings (8-2) • 8:20 p.m.

Did the Cowboys defense expose the Vikings as a suspect offense last week? And can the Patriots, who have allowed just 38 points in five of their past six games, do the same? After their 1-3 start, the Patriots have won five of their past six games. But it’s hard to dismiss any team that can go into Miami and Buffalo and beat two teams with the second-best record in the AFC. Prediction: Vikings, 24-23
