2 teens in critical condition following shooting in Sheraden
Two teenagers are in critical condition after a shooting Thanksgiving night in Pittsburgh’s Sheraden neighborhood.
Zone 6 officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert for 25 rounds at 8:40 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of Sherwood Avenue.
Police found one boy with gunshot wounds to his chest, arm and leg and another who was shot in his ribs and arm. They were transported to a hospital in critical condition.
Authorities said the Sheraden Library was also struck in the gunfire, which damaged the gas meter. The gas was turned off.
