From time to time, we’ll be offering a selection of comments from our web readers. This week, readers respond to Gene Collier’s “Trump, Musk, Twitter, you can’t look away” (Nov. 22).

Gene Collier writes : “In fact, Mr. Musk’s impromptu survey was the only popular vote Trump ever won.” And he was running against — himself!

Oh look, Gene feeding red meat to his adoring audience for Thanksgiving — when one has nothing to write about “lets go get Trump or Musk” or anyone else that is successful — because they are evil and rich. No worries though — soon enough you will be able to bash the Pirates once again.

REED ROTHCHILD

This article is proof for the millionth time when I say Gene Collier is a genius. I will never rest until that orange haired Satanic criminal drags Twitter and the entire GOP down with him into a bagful of cinder and ashes to be flushed down the drain by history. And take all the cult members with you!

DANIEL MUCY

Oh Gene ... .I notice you have 14,300 followers on your Twitter account and have a blue check mark too. If Twitter and Musk are the root of all evil why don’t you close your own Twitter account then. The Orange Guy wouldn’t get nearly as much attention if it weren’t for left leaning journalists republishing his ridiculous Tweets.

It’s not like people are seeking out Trump — they don’t have to. He makes sure he stays “in the news,” whatever it takes. Pretty pathetic to blame the “left-leaning journalists” for that. And I don’t believe that it’s a horrible idea to republish his ridiculous tweets — at least someone should know the absurdity of that which their neighbors are quoting as facts.
