The death of a Cleveland woman whose body was found in the backyard of a Wilkinsburg home has been ruled a homicide, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner.

The report issued Sunday by the county medical examiner’s office said Adrianna Kiri Taylor, 23, died of a gunshot wound to the head.

Allegheny County Police are trying to determine what brought her to the Pittsburgh area and how her body ended up in Wilkinsburg.

The county medical examiner’s office said Ms. Taylor’s body was found in the 800 block of Hill Avenue in Wilkinsburg on Thursday. Time of death was listed as about 9:30 p.m. Thursday.

TV channel WOIO in Cleveland said Cleveland police officially listed her missing Nov. 13 after her family said she hadn’t been heard from since early October.

The TV station said it had confirmed that the Cleveland office of the FBI also was investigating.
