Amazon delivery vehicle stolen in Homewood found in Wilkinsburg

Someone carjacked an Amazon delivery driver Monday night in Pittsburgh’s Homewood South neighborhood, according to police.

The driver stopped to drop off a package in the 500 block of Rosedale Street when a man allegedly threatened her, jumped into the Amazon vehicle and drove off, said Public Safety spokeswoman Amanda Mueller.

Wilkinsburg police found the delivery vehicle later. No one was inside.

No arrests have been made. Police did not offer a description of the suspect. The driver was uninjured.
