Awards and Honors
Jennifer Klein, assistant vice president, commercial banking, Mars Bank, completed coursework at the 2023 Pennsylvania Bankers Association (PA Bankers) School of Commercial Lending. Ms. Klein has served in the banking industry for 11 years. PA Bankers’ School of Commercial Lending provides educational content similar to 200- and 300-level college course study.

Two Pittsburgh-based real estate investment companies have joined forces to purchase Wine Concrete Products in Sewickley.

Hoffman acquired the company for an undisclosed amount. It includes a 16-acre complex along Big Sewickley Creek Road. Assets include a ready-mix concrete plant, a 25,000square-foot precast manufacturing facility, all inventory, equipment and a fleet of mixers and tractor trailers.
The seller, Floyd Wine operated the business from the early 1990’s and will remain as a consultant with the company during the transition. The new ownership plans to make significant investments and upgrades to modernize the plant and its equipment, update its fleet of mixers, and enhance its marketing and business development programs. In addition to its onsite ready mix concrete plant, Wine Concrete specializes in PennDOT-certified precast storm water/ sewer products and electrical vaults for clients throughout the Tri-state region.
