Lindsay leads Quips to 69-64 win vs. Colts
Cameron Lindsey was one of four Aliquippa players to score in double figures as the Quips (4-1) posted a 69-64 non-section win at Chartiers Valley (4-4) on Thursday.
Lindsey tallied 23 points and was joined by teammates Quentin Goode (18), Jace Williams (11) and Qa’lil Goode (10).
Aliquippa is ranked No. 1 in WPIAL Class 2A, while Chartiers Valley is a Class 5A school. Chartiers Valley’s Julian Semplice led all scorers with 27 points, while Colts teammate Jaden Davis chipped in 22.

• Will Siegel scored a career high 24 points, grabbed seven rebounds and registered four steals as Fox Chapel (4-4) handed 4A No. 4 Hampton (5-2) its second straight loss in a non-section game played at Fox Chapel. Jefferson Moorefield-Brown added 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 steals for the Talbots. Peter Kramer topped the Talbots with 18 points, while Liam Mignogna added 12
• Tyler Freas scored 15 points, grabbed six rebounds and connected on three 3s as Penn-Trafford (5-4) defeated visiting Seneca Valley (3-5) in a non-section game. Carmen Metcalfe added nine points for the Warriors. Kai West led Seneca Valley with 12 points.
• Cam Epps scored 26 points, all in the first half, as 4A No. 5 South Allegheny (70) remained unbeaten with a 69-41 domination of visiting Blackhawk (3-5) in a non-section game. Epps also connected on five 3s. Michael Michalski and Jeston Beatty added 17 and 16 points, respectively. Tyler Heckathorn and Justin Shanor had 12 each for Blackhawk.
• Max Hurray was perfect at the foul line on nine attempts and totaled 23 points to lead North Catholic (4-2) to a 75-69 road victory against Knoch (4-2). Nick Larson and Jude Rottmann each contributed 13 points for the Trojans. Knoch’s Jackson Bauman topped all scorers with 24 points.
• Logan Johnson scored a career high 21 points, on seven 3-pointers, as North Hills (3-3) defeated North Allegheny (3-6) for the seventh consecutive time, by a 75-68 score in a non-section game played at North Hills. Eric James led the Indians with 24 points, while North Allegheny’s Joey Dopirak topped all scorers with 29.
