“Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas to All!”: Freshly defrosted for the 2023 holiday season, the singer-songwriter and global sensation performs a repertoire of her festive holiday hits, including the upbeat “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” 9 p.m. (CBS)

“Elf”: Airing for its 20th anniversar­y, this classic film follows Buddy the Elf (Will Ferrell) as he celebrates his first New York Christmas, having traveled to the city to meet his father after learning he was adopted by Santa and isn’t an elf at all. 10:30 p.m. (AMC)
