The Michigan Wolverines were punished for cheating earlier in the season and now they’re playing for college football immortalit­y. Awards”: After over 40 years, the Golden Globes return to CBS for its 81st awards show honoring the best in film and television, with two new awards: cinematic and box office achievemen­t and best stand-up comedian on television. 8 p.m. (CBS) “Grimsburg”: Jon Hamm stars as Marvin Flute, an incredible detective who is oblivious to matters surroundin­g his family. Now he returns to the mysterious town of Grimsburg to win back his exwife. 8 p.m. (Fox) Bills vs. Dolphins: Josh Allen and the Bills fly south to take on the high-speed Dolphins for the AFC East crown. 8:20 p.m. (NBC)

“Funny Woman”: After originally airing in the UK in early 2023, this six-part miniseries finally makes its North American TV debut. The series follows the life and times of Barbara Parker (Gemma Arterton), a beauty queen who becomes a star in a male-dominated industry. 10 p.m. (PBS)

Penguins vs. Flyers: The next edition of the in-state profession­al hockey rivalry take places in Philadelph­ia. 7 p.m. (NHL Network) “Below Deck Mediterran­ean”: After a brief hiatus for the holidays, this nautical reality series is back for a brand-new episode. Disaster strikes the crew of the Mustique as the lead deckhand goes down with an illness and some texts cause problems. 9 p.m. (Bravo) “Going to Mars: The Nikki Giovanni Project”: Written and directed by Joe Brewster and Michèle Stephenson, this documentar­y explores the life of poet Nikki Giovanni and her take on the Civil Rights Movement and Black Lives Matter. 9 p.m. (HBO) Tuesday

Syracuse vs. Pitt: Struggling ACC teams clash on the college hardwood. 7 p.m. (ESPN2)

“La Brea”: The end is nigh as this sci-fi epic returns for its third and final season. After a shocking season two finale, the survivors stranded in 10,000 B.C. are left dealing with the aftermath of countless time portals dropping whatever into this prehistori­c era. 9 p.m. (NBC)

“Echo”: Another Marvel Cinematic Universe story hits Disney+. This five-episode arc follows Maya Lopez, aka Echo, and features classic characters Daredevil and Kingpin. (Disney+) Wednesday

“Nature”: A new episode of this long-running series takes viewers north to Canada, where a baby turtle ventures through a forest in search of the lake where she will spend the next 50 years. Meanwhile, a young bush baby in South Africa searches for a new home. 8 p.m. (PBS)

“FBI True”: This new episode takes viewers behind-the -scenes with real FBI agents recounting another infamous case, in which a devastatin­g explosion ripped through downtown Oklahoma City, forcing investigat­ors on a rescue mission while still searching for clues. 10 p.m. (CBS) Thursday

“Southern Charm”: Having gone through the ringer this season (both in their personal and profession­al lives), this group of charming Charleston natives returns for part one of season nine’s reunion special, delving into past drama as each is eager to preserve their reputation. 8 p.m. (Bravo) “Married to Real Estate”:

During this season two special episode, Egypt and Mike reflect on their favorite projects that highlight some of their smartest solves, including a designer bungalow with a creative real estate strategy. 8 p.m. (HGTV) Friday

“Power Book III: Raising

Kanan”: This “Power Book” prequel is set in the 1990s in South Jamaica, Queens and follows a 15-year-old Kanan Stark (Mekai Curtis), a character first portrayed by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. 8 p.m. (Starz)

“Transplant”: Now in its final season, this medical drama continues with a new episode following doctor Bashir “Bash” Hamed (Hamza Haq) and the rest of the York Memorial Hospital emergency medicine team as they do their best to save patients’ lives in Toronto. 8 p.m. (NBC) Saturday

Sidney Crosby and company make for the coast for a match-up with the always-dangerous Carolina Hurricanes. 7 p.m. (TBD) “I Am Paul Walker”:

Blonde-haired and blue-eyed Paul Walker was known for bringing his California-surfer looks and warm charm to every character he played. This feature-length documentar­y explores the actor’s life and career, including his tragic and unexpected death. 8 p.m. (Point) “ACL 9th annual Hall of Fame Honors John Prine”:

This hour-long special sees actor Ethan Hawke induct John Prine into the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame. Joining them are Tyler Childers, Allison Russell, Nathaniel Rateliff, Valerie June, Kurt Vile and Tommy Prine. 11 p.m. (PBS)
