NewMexico United got its goaljust before halftime after dominating­possession throughout­the first half. Midfielder­Jacobo Reyes slid a throughbal­l past the Riverhound­sdefense, and Hurst pouncedon it, dribbling aroundgoal­keeper Eric Dick beforepoki­ng the ball into the netfor the first goal of the youngseaso­n.

Golf

Scottie Scheffler oneputted his final seven greens and Shane Lowry had two late birdies as both shot 70 to share the lead after three rounds of the Arnold Palmer Invitation­al in Orlando, Fla. They are at 9 under, one shot better than Wyndham Clark. At one point in the day, Will Zalatoris had a five-shot lead, only to make two double bogeys in the final five holes.
