Princess & Snowy

Princess and Snowy are 3-yearold mixed-breed dogs who came to Animal Friends as a result of a conflict with their previous owner’s landlord. They are shy, sweet sisters who lean on each other for support and confidence.

Snowy is the larger of the two, and weighs 17 pounds, while Princess weighs 14 pounds. They are a bonded pair and would have to go to a new home together. However, they cannot live with other dogs. Both would do well in a home with children 13 years and older and where they can get the love and understanding they deserve.

Lug Nut

Lug Nut is a big-hearted 4-yearold, 68-pound, mixed-breed baby who has the endurance to be your perfect hiking companion. His ideal day involves cozying up with his favorite people and cuddling.

He arrived at Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh as a stray and has shown excellent behavior during office visits. He is well-mannered and enjoys chewing on toys and soaking up good vibes.

Lug Nut would prefer to be the only pet in the home. Because he is not quite aware of his size, he may not be the best fit for a family with very small children.

If you’re on the hunt for a goofy boy and a loving companion, head to HARP’s North Side shelter or go to humaneanimalrescue.org.

Lily

Lily is a gorgeous 4-year-old mixed-breed dog who came to Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh from a partner shelter in May 2023.

Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh They had nothing but good things to say about her. She currently is living in a foster home and is looking for a family that can be patient and understand that she needs a little time to warm up.

Lily walks easily on a leash, already knows basic commands such as “sit” and “down” and is house trained and crate trained. She loves cuddles and some of her favorite things are plush toys and playing in water.

This 68-pounder should be the only pet in the house and has lived with kids. Dog-savvy children will be the best to help her relax in her new home.
