Cleveland over WASHINGTON by 8
While we’re certain the NBA will tout tonight’s meeting as a ‘showdown of division leaders’, the fact is that Washington has lost five of its previous seven games and barely remains over .500. Compare that to the smokin’ hot Cavaliers, whose stumbling 6-10 SU and 5-10-1 ATS start to the season is now in the rear view mirror following their recent 13-game win skein (finally lost at Indiana 9 days ago). And while Chick-Fil-A restaurants choose to keep their doors closed on Sundays, King James and company don’t mind rolling up their sleeves and going to work on the Sabbath: Cleveland has won 13 straight games on Sunday, including 7 in a row on the highway! Washington certainly hasn’t challenged the Cavs in recent series get-togethers, posting a paltry 3-9 ATS record at Capital One Arena and dumping four of the last five overall meetings both SU and ATS. Hey, the Wizards have been more pretenders than contenders and until they prove they can run with the big boys, we’ll keep them on our fade list. No magical outcome for Washington fans here.
