CINCINNATI over Detroit by 3
While going through the motions coming down the stretch, Cincy is 7-1 ATS as a home underdog during the month of December under coach Marvin Lewis and are 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS in Last Home Games. The down side is the Bungles have been outgained in their last 9 games and the ‘Red Rifle’ has misfired in the last two contests, throwing for less than 150 yards in each game. Still, the striped cats are 10-5 SU and 9-5-1 ATS all-time versus NFC North opponents, including 5-0 ATS when the foe is coming off a SUATS win. These two teams have met just twice over the past 10 years – with the Bengals winning both times – and since 1983, the Lions are 1-8 SU and 2-7 ATS in this series. Also, the Jungle Kings are a queen-like 1-7 ATS when they have a .500 or greater record and are coming off a double-digit division win. FYI: the original line on this game at Cantor Gaming in Las Vegas before the season started was Cincy -3. With that, we’ll jump on the value with the red-faced (and red-haired) home dog as we dig down deep for a “win one for the Gipper” role – in what is expected to be Marvin Lewis’ final home game in Cincinnati. Go Cats, go.
