BOISE ST over Connecticut by 31
Like we said, it’s just not in our blood to back 30-point chalk but this one has a siren call similar to the Okie State game. There’s no denying UConn is one of the worst teams in the country. The Huskies are not 3-10 SU under second-term HC Randy Edsall and have lost 6 games in a row dating back to last season. The ATS archives concur: Connecticut is 0-5-1 ATS in Game Two, 0-4 ATS after UCF, and 1-6 ATS as non-conference dogs of 10 or more points. There goes that hand again. As fortune would have it, though, we discovered Boise State’s costly 0-4-1 ATS failure in its last five appearances as non-conference home chalk, as well as a 2-6 ATS mark on the blue turf between road games. Look, the Broncos’ 36-point win at Troy wasn’t as impressive in the stats where they barely edged the Trojans 416-379 – in spite of recovering 4 turnovers. Well, we talked ourselves out of laying the points again. Stay true to your rule.
