There is a family feud going on in Pittsburgh these days and it’s killing the Steelers. The season started off on the wrong foot with RB Le’Veon Bell holding out (again), and WR Antonio Brown not taking a single snap in the preseason. Talk about a house divided. As a result second-year Steeler RB James Conner stepped in and gained 192 total yards in his first career start in place of Bell. He did have a critical fumble late in the game in last week’s 21-21 tie with the Browns, however, to go along with 5 turnovers from struggling QB Ben Roethlisberger. As a result a 472-327 yardage benefit for the Black and Gold was all for naught. Enter Kansas City QB Patrick Mahomes, who passed for four TDs while WR Tyreek Hill scored three touchdowns in leading the Chiefs to a 38-28 win over the Chargers in Los Angeles last Sunday. In typical Andy Reid fashion, Kansas City won the game despite being decisively outyarded, 541362, in the contest. That leaves us with a double “inside-out” stat advantage in Pittsburgh’s favor today and we’re all over it like white on rice. Especially with Pittsburgh holding a recent 3-0 SUATS series advantage over the Chiefs the past two seasons. Look for a strong bounce back from Big Ben today as confirmed by
