Furious Flower Poetry Center
Tiana Clark of Nashville won the Gwendolyn Brooks Centennial Poetry Prize for a group of poems. She received $2,000. Clemonce Heard of Stillwater, Oklahoma, won the $1,000 second-place prize. Their winning poems will be published in Obsidian. The one-time award honored the legacy of poet Gwendolyn Brooks and was given to an emerging poet for a group of poems.
