Poet Ray Gonzalez of Minneapolis won the 2017 Witter Bynner Fellowship. He received $10,000 and gave a reading at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. and in Minneapolis. Poet laureate Juan Felipe Herrera judged. The annual award is given to a poet to support the writing of poetry. There is no application process.
