A prize valued at $2,000 is given annually to a woman poet over 40 who has not published a book in any genre. The winner receives $1,000; publicatio­n in Voices From the Attic, Carlow University’s literary journal; and round-trip transporta­tion and lodging to give a reading at the university with this year’s judge, Lyrae Van Clief-Stefanon. Submit two poems of up to 75 lines each with a $20 entry fee, which includes a copy of Voices From the Attic, by October 2. Visit the website for complete guidelines.
