Brooklyn Book Festival

The 11th annual Brooklyn Book Festival will be held on September 17 at Brooklyn Borough Hall and Plaza in New York City. The festival features readings, panels, and a book fair. Participants include poets Kaveh Akbar, William Brewer, Robin Coste Lewis, Carolyn Forché, Morgan Parker, and Danez Smith; fiction writers André Alexis,

Jess Arndt, Nicole Dennis-Benn, Julia Fierro, Jonathan Safran Foer, Lindsay Hunter, Lisa Ko, Catherine Lacey, Victor LaValle, Jonathan Lethem, Claire Messud, Joyce Carol Oates, and Colson Whitehead; and creative nonfiction writers Deborah Campbell, Jeff Chang, Farai Chideya, Nelson George, Suzy Hansen, Chris Hayes, Phillip Lopate, and Pankaj Mishra.
