Other Words Literary Conference

The Other Words Literary Conference, presented by the Florida Literary Arts Coalition (FLAC), will be held from October 12 to October 14 on the campus of the University of Tampa. The conference features workshops in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, as well as panels and readings. The 2017 theme is “All Things Foodie.” The faculty includes poets Sandra Beasley, Richard Mathews, and Ira Sukrungruang; fiction writers Ryan McIlvain and Jason Ockert; and nonfiction writer Jocelyn Bartkevicius. The cost of the conference is $65 for FLAC members and $95 for nonmembers. Workshops are available for an additional $40; registration is first come, first served.
