Palm Beach Poetry Festival

The 14th annual Palm Beach Poetry Festival will be held from January 15, 2018, to January 20, 2018, at the Delray Beach Center for the Arts in downtown Delray Beach, Florida. The festival features workshops, readings, craft talks, manuscript consultations, panel discussions, and social events for poets. The faculty includes poets Laure-Anne Bosselaar, Gabrielle Calvocoressi, Chard deNiord, Beth Ann Fennelly, Ross Gay, Rodney Jones, Phillis Levin, Aimee Nezhukumatathil, and Tim Seibles. The guest speaker is poet Coleman Barks. The cost of tuition is $895 for workshop participants and $495 for auditors. One-on-one manuscript consultations with Lorna Blake, Sally Bliumis-Dunn, and Nicole Brown are available for an additional $99. Submit three poems of up to six pages with a $25 application fee by November 10. Lodging is available at area hotels for discounted rates, starting at $159 per night.
