JU­NIPER PRIZES

Herve Comeau of Syra­cuse, New York, and Kent Shaw of Paw­tucket, Rhode Is­land, won the 2018 Ju­niper Prizes in Po­etry. Comeau won for his col­lec­tion, Chil­dren of the Down-swing, and Shaw won for his col­lec­tion Too Nu­mer­ous. Jan­ice Margolis of Boul­der, Colorado, and Christina Milletti of Buf­falo won prizes in fic­tion. Margolis won for her story col­lec­tion, Ter­mi­na­tion Shocks, and Milletti won for her novel, Choke Box: a Fem-Noir. They each re­ceived $1,000, and their books will be pub­lished by Univer­sity of Mas­sachusetts Press. The an­nual awards are given for two po­etry col­lec­tions and two books of fic­tion, and
