Talking Gourds

Michelle Bitting of Los Angeles won the 21st annual Fischer Prize for “Everything Crumbling Becoming Something New.” She received $1,000 and publication of her poem on the Talking Gourds website. She also received an additional $500 in travel expenses to accept the award at the Telluride Literary Arts Festival in May 2018. Joan Logghe judged. The annual award is given for a poem.
