Cuba Writers Program

The Cuba Writers Program will be held from May 2 to May 10 in Havana, Cuba. The program features workshops for poets, fiction writers, and nonfiction writers, as well as lectures on Cuban history and culture, cultural activities, and opportunities to meet with Cuban writers and artists. The faculty includes fiction and nonfiction writer Alden Jones and fiction writer Tim Weed. Tuition is $3,490, which includes workshops, some meals, ground transportation, site visits, and shared lodging at area hotels and inns (private lodging, space permitting, is available for an additional $600). Airfare is not included. Submit two to three pages of poetry or up to five pages of prose and a statement of intent by January 15.
