Kentucky Women Writers Conference

The 2019 Kentucky Women Writers Conference will be held from September 19 to September 22 at the Carnegie Center in Lexington, Kentucky. The conference features workshops and craft talks in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction. The faculty includes poets Franny Choi, DaMaris B. Hill, and Dorianne Laux; fiction writers Chantel Acevedo, Lydia Millet, and Antonya Nelson; and nonfiction writers Nicole Chung, Barbara Hurd, and Darcey Steinke. The cost of the conference is $125; the cost for students is $30. Workshops are available for an additional $100. Manuscript consultations with literary agent Alice Speilburg (Speilburg Literary Agency) are available for an additional $45. Workshop space is limited; registration is first come, first served.
