GrubStreet Muse and the Marketplace

The 2021 GrubStreet Muse and the Marketplace conference will be held online from April 21 to May 2. The event features more than 65 craft classes, discussions, workshops, and meetings with agents and editors for poets, fiction writers, and nonfiction writers. Participating writers include poets Nick Flynn and Vievee Francis; fiction writers Alexander Chee, Alex Espinoza, Nancy Johnson, Rebecca Makkai, and Jenny Offill; and nonfiction writers Reyna Grande, Candace McDuffie, and Jess Row. Participating publishing professionals include agents Regina Brooks (Serendipity Literary Agency), Sonali Chanchani (Folio Literary Management), and Michelle Tessler (Tessler Literary Agency), and editors Amber Oliver (Penguin Random House), Katie Raissian (Grove Atlantic), and Steve Woodward (Graywolf Press). Tuition is $269. Manuscript consultations are available for an additional $200, premium workshops for $450, and small group info sessions with agents and editors for $100.
