porterville Adult Day Care Services (PADS) is gearing up for its Rocking Chair-a-thon and accepting team entries. Teams of five people are needed for the 24-hour event that supports caregivers of dementia patients. Teams provide a minimum donation of $275 — a registration fee of $30 per member, and a team sponsorship of $125. Registration fees are due Feb. 19. The event will be held Feb. 26-27 at PADS at 227 E.
