Stolen Motor Vehicle

A 1996 Chevy Silverado was stolen from the 1400 block of North Salisbury Street. At approximat­ely 11:30 a.m. the vehicle was located and recovered in the area of Orange Belt and Avenue 194.

Stolen Motor Vehicle

A 1994 Ford F-150 was stolen from the 400 block of South Main Street. Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016

Possess Controlled Substance

Offices made a traffic stop on Olive Avenue near Highway 65 and ultimately arrested the driver, Teresa Mastin, for being under the influence. The passenger, Jimmie Torres, was arrested for two outstandin­g warrants. He was also found to be in possession of methamphet­amine.

Resisting Arrest / Under the Influence

Officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a bicyclist, Raymond Tanguma, 30, in the area of G Street and Orange Avenue. Tanguma fled on his bicycle, then on foot. He was located and arrested in a nearby backyard and found to have two warrants, drug parapherna­lia and was under the influence.

Stolen Motor Vehicle

Officers responded to the 900 block of Mcintire regarding a stolen silver 1999 Honda Civic. The victim advised unknown suspect(s) stole his vehicle from the roadway in front of his residence.

DUI

Officers were dispatched to Villa Street north of Morton Avenue in regard to a single vehicle rollover collision. Officers contacted the sole occupant, Christina Perez, 28, who stated she had been at a friend’s residence drinking beer and then attempted to drive home. Perez said as she was traveling southbound on Villa Street when her cellular phone rang and she reached for it, at which time she struck a tree and rolled her vehicle. She was arrested.

Residentia­l Burglary

Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of North Westwood Street in regard to a residentia­l burglary. The victim stated his home was burglarize­d over the past two days. Taken was the air conditioni­ng unit, water heater, dishwasher and copper wire.
