Pete John Milanesio

Pete John Milanesio, 85 of Strathmore California passed away on February 18, 2017 with his family by his side.

Pete was born May 6, 1931 in Alhambra, California to Joseph and Jennie Milanesio and was raised and attended school in La Puente. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and then married Rosalie M. Blua May 26, 1956 in La Puente before moving to the Lindsay-strathmore area later that same year, where they raised two sons.pete was a farmer and worked very hard most of his life. He enjoyed watching his grandkids drag race, hunting dove and pheasant, and loved spending time with family and friends at their home on the central coast. Pete was also a long time member of the Sons of Italy Roma lodge and served on the board of California Planting Cotton Seed Distributors (CPCSD).PETE was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Jennie Milanesio and brother Dominic Milanesio. He is survived by his wife Rosalie Milanesio of Strathmore; his sons Steve Milanesio and wife Gina and Dave Milanesio and wife Didia all of Strathmore as well as his three grandchildren Derik, Jenica, and Darin; his aunt Phyllis Tucker and other relatives and a host of friends.visitation will be held on Sunday, February 26 from 2:00 to 7:00 PM at Webb Sanders Funeral Home, 163 S Mirage Ave, Lindsay. The Holy Rosary will be prayed and Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Monday, February 27 at 10 AM at St Aloysius Catholic Church, 125 E. Pleasant Avenue, Tulare. The Reverend Msgr. Rick Urizalqui will officiate and interment will follow at Lindsay Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pete's memory to Sons of Italy Roma Lodge #1573, 17383 Ave. 184, Strathmore, Ca 93267 or a charity of your choice.
