Stolen Motor Vehicle

Officers responded at 10:54 a.m. to the sub-100 block of South B Street regarding the theft of a motorcycle. The victim reported his black 1988 Honda Shadow VT-1100 motorcycle was stolen from the carport of his apartment complex over the past three days. Under the Influence / Possession

Officers initiated contact at 6:39 p.m. with Kuah Cha, 31, in the area of Olive Avenue and Indiana Street. During the contact, Cha was determined to be under the influence of and in possession of a controlled substance.

Stolen Motor Vehicle

Officers responded at 5:14 a.m. to the 1100 block of West Forest Avenue regarding a stolen purple Honda Accord, which had just occurred. The victim stated his vehicle was warming up while he was inside his residence. When he exited to depart, he discovered the vehicle was gone.

Resisting Arrest / Assault on a Peace Officer

Officers were dispatched at 11:26 a.m. to the 1200 block of West Henderson Avenue regarding a subject who was acting erraticall­y and causing a disturbanc­e. Officers contacted Roger Rea, 32, in the area. Once contact was made with Rea, he was extremely resistant and refused to obey lawful commands. He eventually submitted to being handcuffed and once he learned he was being arrested, Rea resisted being seated in the patrol unit and attempted to pull away. After an assisting officer arrived, Rea was secured in the patrol unit. Rea then spat through the partition, striking officers, he was booked into the custody of the Tulare County Sheriff.

Commercial Burglary / Vandalism

Officers responded at 8:28 a.m. to Home Depot regarding a possible commercial burglary. The investigat­ion revealed that the suspects forced entry into a fenced enclosure. Taken during the burglary were one Craftsman chainsaw, one Stihl chainsaw, and two Echo weed eaters. The suspects also caused $1,000 worth of damage to the fence.

Stolen Motor Vehicle

Officers were dispatched at 8:30 a.m. to the 1700 block of West Olive Avenue regarding a stolen green 2000 Honda Civic. The vehicle was taken sometime during the night.
