Ducor Handy Mart robbed Thursday night
For the second time in the past two weeks, Ducor Handy Mart was the victim of an armed robbery, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department reported.
At 11:50 p.m. on Thursday, the clerk told deputies the convenience store was robbed by two males wearing dark clothing and masks and armed with a handgun. The suspects took cash from the registers and the clerk’s money. The suspects fled from the store.
Deputies and detectives responded and searched the area for the suspects. The suspects were not located.
This case is being investigated by the Sheriff’s South-end Investigations Unit.
On April 16, deputies responded to the same store for a report of a robbery. Deputies arrived and contacted a victim who had been working the register during the robbery. Deputies discovered an unknown male entered the store wielding a firearm and demanding money. The suspect fled the area with cash.
