SATURDAY the Friends of the Library will hold book sales on the first Saturday of each month from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. behind the gas company building at 301 N. Hockett St. in Porterville. The sales feature classics, fiction, non-fiction, travel, humor, history, Western, reference, mystery, large-print, cook, travel and text books. Computer manuals, DVDS, music, old records and videos will also be sold. All proceeds benefit the Porterville City Library and the Porterville Library Literacy Program.
