Probation, parole check leads to 15 arrests
A two probation and parole compliance check in Tulare County led to 15 arrests, including two from Porterville, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department reported.
A two probation and parole compliance check in Tulare County led to 15 arrests, including two from Porterville, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department reported.
On Friday and Saturday, detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office TAGNET (Tulare Area Gang and Narcotic Enforcement Team), along with Tulare County Probation, California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation, California Highway Patrol, TARGET (Tulare Area Regional Gang Enforcement Team), Porterville Police Department, Dinuba Police Department, and Exeter Police Department conducted the detail throughout Tulare County.
As a result, 53 locations were searched, 15 arrests were made, 13 warrants were served, and four parole holds were issued; two firearms, narcotics for sales, and heavy body armor were also seized as evidence.
The following subjects were arrested and booked into the Tulare County Jail for violating probation or parole:
